ID Capstone Project

Industrial Design Capstone Project in association with Cognitive Empowerment Program/Emory Brain Health Center.  Student teams assist a member of this program with a problem in his or her life.

As a shophand at Georgia Tech's BME Design Shop for several years, I had extensive experience and resources available. This course had an accelerated schedule, resulting in just a single week allotted for the entire prototyping phase.

In this project I was responsible for the following components:

• Created compact audiovisual notification device for individuals exhibiting Mild Cognitive Impairment.

• Developed and Built circuit utilizing Adafruit QT-PY

• Wrote and Refined associated code for circuit and sensors - I2C-connected Accelerometer/Gyroscope/Magnetometer.

• Utilized Iterative Design and DFM ideologies to assemble 3D printed chassis for project electronics

• Voice of the Customer

• Game Design (Activities designed to uncover latent problems in the environments of program members)

• Presentations
